Hi Everyone,

I’m putting together this GoFundMe to support my dear friend Maryam Uddin, who has been going through an incredibly difficult time since a car accident on New Year's Eve.

Maryam was involved in an accident on a flooded road, and while she was thankfully able to survive it, she was injured and her car was completely totaled. Unfortunately, because the road was flooded, her insurance is not covering the loss of the vehicle. On top of recovering from her injuries, Maryam is currently unable to work simply because she no longer has a reliable way to get to and from her job.

Right now, we’re hoping to raise funds to help Maryam put together a down payment for a new car so she can regain her independence, return to work, and focus on healing without the added stress of transportation issues.
