I am Maryam Ayyoush from Gaza. I am 22 years old. I study at the College of Media and Multimedia. I have not graduated yet because of the war that was imposed on us because of the occupation. I have 7 family members who are also with me. My mama, father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters including myself. We have all been displaced and have been sheltering in a tent in Rafah.

On October 20, 2023, when an event occurred that caused the sound of noise and screaming to spread throughout the city, as there was a threat to evacuate the entire city. More than 30,000 displaced people in the entire city. We used to own a nice house with my nice family, consisting of seven members, of an area of ​​one hundred and seventy-five meters, filling it with peace and tranquility.

Now the house is an empty house. About crumbled ashes. It was destroyed. I didn't just lose my home. I lost everything. My home, my city, my university, my friends, my simple life. I lost my entire life. I wish they had given me An opportunity to say goodbye to my life, where it has stopped since the first day of the war.

There is only one semester left until my graduation. Help me and my family to escape this war and help us continue and restore our lives. Egyptian border fees for crossing are $5,000 per head so that means I need 35,000 to evacuate my family safely from Rafah.
