Help Rebuild Mary Withrow’s Backyard Sanctuary
Mary would have said no if I asked before posting this... but I'm doing it anyway.
If you know Mary Kennedy Withrow, you already know — she is the definition of selfless. She’s the first to show up, the last to leave, and the one person you can always count on when life gets hard. Mary is the first to help a stranger and the person who sweeps in and carries your weight when you can't stand on your own. She handled all of the details for my father's funeral when I couldn't even get out of bed, and she was there for our dear friend Heather Long's family when we lost her at a young age. She is the first person people call when they have an animal in need, and she has raised so much money for countless charities in the area. If you are reading this, there was probably a time that she came to your rescue too. She never asks for anything, not even a thank you. She gives so much of herself to others — now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Recently, a large tree suddenly collapsed on Mary’s home, destroying her beloved patio — her personal sanctuary and place of peace. She lost her patio furniture, her beautiful string lights, her cozy fire pit, her vibrant flowers and plants, and even the special trees she planted and cared for over the years. All gone in an instant. These things are not just "things" for Mary. They make up the one place that she finds peace and comfort and lightens up the weight of all she carries upon her for everyone else.
Mary isn’t filing an insurance claim because the deductible is simply too expensive to make it worth it — and anyone who’s dealt with home damage knows how overwhelming and costly it can be to replace everything out of pocket.
Let’s come together to help her rebuild her peaceful outdoor haven — the space where she finds joy, rest, and reflection. Whether it’s $10 or $100, every dollar helps get her closer to having her little slice of serenity back.
She would never ask for help herself… so we’re doing it for her. ❤️
Thank you for supporting someone who has supported so many.
