Help Mary Wilson fight bile duct cancer!

Mary started chemotherapy this last week and will continue for several months. While cancer and treatment is debilitating, both mentally and physically, the financial costs of it are equally debilitating. Mary is currently working part time, but may not be able to continue that as treatment progresses; chemo has a cumulative effect.  Mike is working his ass off, as the treatment bills and copays have already started. And as many of you know, they recently bought an apartment and now have a 30 year mortgage.

Cancer literally bankrupts people in this country. It’s wrong on so many levels and I could write a treatise here about how it’s actually evil. I won’t.

Listen, I know a lot of you are actors/artists/working folks; that many of you are on strike, even, and that this is an enormous ask: I am asking you to please help Mary and Mike. They did not ask me to do this. They would never. And that's why we need to help them. Every donation will cover the costs of the multitude of chemo, blood tests, CT scans, etc that Mary will need to endure for the foreseeable future.

This is a very difficult diagnosis and they both need to focus on Mary’s health, the moment to moment of their lives, and each other…and not on things that ultimately don’t mean all that much.

Any little amount will greatly help. It will all go directly to them and Mary's care, and both of them will have access to this page to provide you all updates.

Maybe the most important thing is sharing the link on your social media or via a targeted couple of emails, so that all who know and love Mary (and Mike) have the opportunity to reach out and tell her so, or offer support, in whatever form that comes.

I know Mary has already been blown away by the emails, texts, calls and words of love and encouragement.  

Let’s help them both feel a little less worried about all of it.
