Help cover funeral expenses for Mary C Sharpe
Donation protected
Mom passed away 9-27-24.
We need your help. We can not have a funeral date until we get money to pay for her services. They don’t accept any payment plans or credit cards. So we need your kindness to help her get the beautiful service she deserves. So please please, please, find it in your heart to help.
My mother, Mary Sharpe, would do anything for anyone that needed her help. She’s bought Christmas for families that weren’t going to have anything, taken food to strangers, friends, and family that were going hungry, she donated to so many people that were down and out. She’s helped family to get to appointments and just been a kind ear to listen.
Now my mom needs your help. She is battling a glioblastoma brain tumor. She has done 40 treatments of radiation and a round of chemo that was 6 weeks long. She is now wearing her Optune device that she wears 18 hours a day and sleeps with it on her head. Today she started her high dose chemo for a week then will get 3 weeks off and then do it again.
While all of this should be enough for one family to deal with, Friday night our kitchen floor broke. The fridge and oven leaned over so much the floor joists gave out. (Pretty sure the flood of ‘08 caused them to become bad. But we didn’t know how bad until this happened). This is where we need help. I’ve reached out to services and they either have too much money (their monthly social security) or don’t live in Columbus city limits to get services.
We need your help. We need a place to stay for the next couple weeks so everything that needs replaced and fixed can get done. And so mom can rest and not worry about the money trying to get things fixed. We would stay in an extended stay hotel until the kitchen is done.
Any money left over would be used to help mom and dad through this horrible cancer she has. And would help her cover medications and some doctor bills.
Thank you for reading this and if you could share it to reach a larger audience, we would greatly appreciate it.
