I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister Mary, who urgently needs our help to regain her independence and preserve her dignity.

Since 2016, Mary has faced severe and progressive medical challenges including:

Permanent nerve damage in her hands, legs, and feet

Legal blindness in both eyes

Loss of mobility and balance

She can no longer drive, travel independently, or manage daily personal care without assistance. Her husband—who faces his own health struggles—works part-time while supporting her as much as possible. Together, they are reaching a breaking point.

To restore her agency, safety, and autonomy, Mary needs two medically necessary devices:

All-terrain, long-range (30+ miles), pneumatic tires

Full suspension and orthopedic seating

Safety lights, turn signals, horn, and anti-theft alarm

Allows her to safely attend appointments, pick up medications, and complete errands independently

All donations will go directly toward purchasing these two devices from verified vendors. Every gift will help Mary regain her independence, improve her safety, and preserve her dignity and self-respect.
