Cycling for Skanda: Riding the Erie Canal for Animal Rescue

Hello Family and Friends,

When I worked at Cazenovia College, my students and I volunteered and fundraised for the Haven at Skanda, a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary. I am continuing that fundraising effort through "Cycling for Skanda: an Erie Canal Bike Ride from Buffalo to Syracuse."

I will start riding on July 7th from Buffalo and arrive in Syracuse on July 10th. I will ride a total of 200 miles on the canal and I am hoping to raise $1000 to purchase new fence posts to rebuild their very old fence for the horses.
