Help Mary Rebuild after Houston's storm on May 16th.

Hi, I wanted to give an update on Mary’s progress, thank everyone for their donations and let them know how the funds are being used.

Mary is working with FEMA and currently in temporary housing. Hard decisions need to be made as to rebuild or sell. There’s a lot of love and memories in her home and that decision has not been made. It is too soon to decide as insurance has not gotten back to her etc. Currently our donations are being used pay for days off, necessities she needed and was unable to take from her home, food etc. She wants to thank everyone, and I do too! Once Mary is able to get a clearer picture of how she can go forward per insurance, decisions will be made.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my old next door neighbor. Mary is a WONDERFUL soul and has helped me through thick and thin. Countless nights solving world problems, watching my daughter when I was a single mother. I would like to give back.

Houston had a detrimental storm roll through on May 16th, and as she sought refuge in her bathtub with her dogs, a tree fell through her roof. There is insulation everywhere, interior damage and just plain stress!

Mary lives in the 77018 zip code, Oak Forest on a 1400 block. The picture says it all.

Mary is a fun loving person that worked in the radio industry till the market shifted on the eary 2000's and is hardworking in her accounting job - but coming up with funds that will meet the amount needed for repairs is hard to do on her own. She will need a new roof, new front porch, inside repairs of sheetrock, painting, etc.

Please lets help her out and rebuild. Your assistance is very appreciated!
