SMC '89 TRUST COVID RELIEF FUNDS FOR CHENNAI!

SMC '89 TRUST in collaboration with Canada Peace Foundation (CPF) are requesting you to donate generously to assist Chennai in dealing with the devastating second wave of Covid-19.

About Stanley Medical College: Stanley Medical College (SMC) is a government medical college with affiliated teaching hospitals, located in Chennai (Madras) in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. As graduates of this prestigious institution, we would like to support the ongoing efforts of our colleagues to safely treat their patients suffering from the second wave of COVID-19.  We are working towards the immediate needs of Stanley Medical Hospital and affiliated COVID-19 Care Centres. We hope to extend our help and expertise to other government hospitals within Chennai as well.
 
SMC Hospital is increasing it's capacity by an additional 500 beds for COVID-19 cases. The following supplies are URGENTLY needed!

1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for frontline staff 
2. 30 Oxygen Flowmeters 
3. 50 Stretchers with facility to carry O2 cylinders
4. 50 Wheelchairs for patients in distress or disabled
5. 5 Water Dispensers to provide clean drinking water for patients
6. 10,000 Disposable bedsheets for the new COVID-19 wards

The above supplies can be donated without any government restrictions and time is of the essence! SMC '89 TRUST volunteers in Chennai are independently sourcing suppliers and will deliver them to the hospitals and peripheral centres.

SMC Hospital has been streamlining their patient very efficiently and your donation will help them improve the quality of care for the patients already suffering from this devastating virus.
