Hello, my name is Mary, and I am a disabled single mother, student, and professional who has spent years fighting serious medical neglect while trying to care for my children and complete my education. Over the past decade, I have endured multiple miscarriages, severe chronic health conditions, and repeated dismissal by healthcare providers—despite documented symptoms of cardiac, pulmonary, orthopedic, and sleep-related disorders. My conditions were frequently minimized, misdiagnosed, or improperly documented, delaying critical care and causing my health to progressively deteriorate. In February 2024, while on disability and attending university, I suffered a preventable slip-and-fall injury on campus, aggravating my existing conditions and causing new injuries. Shortly after, I was involved in multiple motor vehicle collisions where I was not at fault, further worsening my condition. In June 2025, a fractured patella was visibly identified, and surgery was urgently recommended—yet records were later altered, imaging downgraded, and care obstructed. Independent imaging has since confirmed longstanding injuries requiring surgical intervention, but I remain without surgery months later due to continued delays and systemic barriers. Because of these failures, I am now dealing with worsening mobility, circulation problems, and escalating pain, while my education and professional career have been placed on hold.
