Hi, my name is Mary Downar! I’m a junior in high school and I have an incredible opportunity to go to Greece to learn more about medicine and get real hands-on experience with patients that I wouldn’t be able to do here in the US. My dream is to become a neuropsychologist/scientist and this will really help me learn more about what I want to do and get to help others in the community!

This passion started when I was seven years old when my dad passed away because of Parkinson’s, leaving my mom a single parent who alone raised me.

Due to my dad’s passing, it really ignited my desire to study the brain, its functions, and how it behaves.

I humbly ask for whatever you can give and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers throughout this journey of mine!
