Hi, my name is Jessica and I am Mary Louise's daughter in law. In March of 2023, Mary Louise got diagnosed with Leukemia. Since then, she had undergone several rounds of treatment, blood transfusions and obstacle after obstacle. When she got sick, Dan (her husband) stopped working to care for her. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, cancer causes a strain on family finances. That is the unfortunate case for them as well. Since Dan has been off, they've exhausted every bit of savings and financial means they had. They are not the type to ask for help so I am doing this for them. They have applied to EI and it finally got accepted two days ago.

But with every bit of good news, comes bad news. Last week, Mary Louise got admitted to the hospital again but this time for a severe blood infection that is throughout her body, her skin causing sores, and now a blood clot in her neck.

They've exhausted funancial resources they had access to and all their means of finances.

I will update throughout her journey but please, please, if you can, please help us relieve them of at least some of this financial burden. Even if you cannot donate, please share. Every little bit counts.
