On Wednesday, January 21, one of the worst things happened to my sister, Mary Lou Longley, and her husband, Chris Longley. They lost their house to a fire. Mary Lou and Chris are the kind of people who would give anything they had if someone else needed it, and now they are the ones in need of support from their community.

While they do have insurance for the house, the process of rebuilding and recovering from such a loss is long and challenging. In the meantime, they are left without a home and without many of the basic things they need for daily life. I am starting this fundraiser to help them get necessities like clothing, a place to stay, and other essentials as they begin to put their lives back together.
