Help Mary knock Cancer out!

I'd like you all to meet Mary. Mary is pure sunshine in the human form and one of the most positive people I have ever met. To know her is to love her. Always a smile on her face and a song in her heart.

She derives joy from music like The Beatles and the Beach Boys and is as whimsical as a Muppet movie. She always finds joy and light even when the dark consumes. Mary is beloved by her family, her friends, her co-workers and her clients.

My name is Rachel and Mary is one of my best friends. A soul mate and a kindred spirit.

Mary is a devoted mother to her 14-year-old son Max, a loving partner to her soul mate Mark and passionate about her career.

In the summer of 2022, Mary was blindsided by a diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer. This has been a devastating blow to her and all who know her.

Using the sunshine and stubbornness that is her, Mary began fighting tooth and nail to knock this cancer on its butt. She is now on her second round of chemo and her smile and positive attitude persist.

All while fighting, Mary still wakes up every day with a desire to serve her clients and co-workers and to be present every day for her son. Her partner Mark has been glued to her side.

I wish that I could reach out and just remove this terrible burden. I wish that no one ever has to experience this. I wish we had the cure! Sadly, we just aren't there yet.

We can, however, help alleviate the financial burden that fighting cancer can cause. We can make items like rent, groceries, medical bills, and financial security, one less thing to worry about.
