Help Mary Kathryn Heal After Hit-and-Run
Donation protected
On Friday, April 18, Mary Kathryn Kuehnert was hit by a car while riding her bike through her neighborhood, Overbrook. The driver didn’t stop. Thankfully, a neighbor found her and called 911, getting her the emergency help she needed.
She was taken to the hospital and admitted to the Neuro ICU, where doctors began immediate care. We’re incredibly grateful to share that Mary Kathryn is now responsive — a huge answer to prayer. Still, the road ahead is uncertain.
There are many unknowns as Mary Kathryn begins to heal — including the extent of her injuries, the cost of her medical care, and when she’ll be able to return to work. What is certain is that she and her family are facing a long recovery process, and they need our support.
Please consider donating to help cover:
- Emergency medical expenses
- In-Patient rehabilitation at Roger C Peace and ongoing care
- Lost income during recovery
- Childcare for her niece and nephew, who she often babysits
- Everyday needs for Mary Kathryn and her immediate family -- Hannah (sister) and Bennett Dixon + Georgie & Tuck
Every dollar makes a difference, and every share helps spread the word. Thank you for standing beside Mary Kathryn and her loved ones as they navigate this difficult time.
Along with donations, we have a meal train here for MK and the Dixons.
PS
Please consider manually adding 3% to your donation to cover credit card processing fees. You can adjust the automatic GoFundMe tip amount too!
