Hey friends, family, and community,

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to help make a dream come true for two extraordinary women of faith—Mary Jane and Bonita—who have spent their lives serving others. In April 2026, we hope to send them on the journey of a lifetime: a guided trip through Greece to retrace the Apostle Paul’s second missionary journey. 

This is more than a vacation—it’s a deeply meaningful spiritual trip that they both have expressed interest in going on.

Why This Trip Is So Important?

Mary Jane, my grandmother, has long dreamed of experiencing the Bible come alive through travel. She recently had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land, but her trip was cut short when the October 7 attack occurred. Now, almost complete with her chemo treatments for pancreatic cancer, time is more precious than ever. We want to give her the chance to complete a dream—to walk where Paul preached, pray where the early church was born, and experience the scriptures with her feet on the soil of history.

Bonita is a fellow church member, music maker, and caretaker. Bonita is a faithful member of our church choir and one of the kindest, most generous people you’ll ever meet. She will always find a way to give you what you need and continuously check in on you through challenging times. Though retired, Bonita has been caring for and supporting her teenage grandson—lovingly providing for him even as it stretches resources. She would never ask for help for herself, but we want to bless her with this opportunity as a thank-you for all she gives.

Mary Jane has served in countless volunteer roles through the church over the years. From mission work to mentoring younger women, her legacy of service is something we all admire. Both of these women have walked alongside others in their journeys—now we want to walk beside them.

What We’re Raising….

The total cost of the trip is approximately $6,195 per person, which includes airfare, accommodations, meals, and the full itinerary through key biblical locations such as Philippi, Thessaloniki, Corinth, and Athens. Our goal is to raise $12,390 to fully fund both Mary Jane and Bonita’s spots on this unforgettable journey.
