Mary is one of my closest friends, and her love for animals has always been at the center of her life. Last night, her world changed forever when her house caught on fire. The fire alarms didn’t go off, and by the time help arrived, it was too late for her beloved pets—three cats named Prince Henry, Duchess, and Phillip, and two dogs, Diamond and Potato. If you knew Mary, you’d know that Prince Henry was her absolute best friend, a companion she’s had since college.
