Greetings from Mary & her household!

Mary, a fiancée and mother of two baby girls (Alice is 1 year, Elliana is 2 months), is in dire need of assistance. Mary is 21, she is the most caring and genuine person I’ve ever met. Mary worked as an RBT before her condition interrupted that. As a Registered Behavioral Technician, she worked with children with disabilities, as young as a few years old, to help them learn how to better themselves, communicate better, and grow.

Our family is undergoing a medical crisis. Mary is currently struggling with an undiagnosed heart condition that has progressively gotten worse. While it isn’t medically diagnosed, it is currently known as a “severe cardiac anomaly,” and we’re leaning towards Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, also known as POTS.

This has progressed to the point that her day-to-day life is highly impacted by it. She has had to take unpaid time off of work, now has to quit her job due to her health, and now has needs such as;

A wheelchair and/or walker would improve her quality of life as she will be able to easily move and navigate without fear of falling or passing out. A service dog, trained in Cardiac Alert and Fall Risk, would allow her to be alerted and have a trained companion to ensure her safety.

Because of her condition, she now needs to find an apartment that is better accommodated and therefore safer to reduce potential harm.
