Help Mary Granados Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hello everyone.

I am Mary Granados from Hendersonville, NC. Some of you may know me as the hairdresser on Dana Road. Though life may change quickly, I never imagined I would find myself in a situation requiring this kind of aid. My house was severely damaged by Hurricane Helene, and I am now finding great difficulty controlling the damage.

The storm totally wrecked portions of my roof, causing floods all over the home. Now, the location where I live is hardly identifiable. Many of my items have been lost, and the emotional and financial toll of the repairs is great.

Though asking for assistance is difficult, I am reaching out because I really need it. My insurance will barely pay for a portion of the expenses; I'm not sure how I'll handle the rest. I am working to reconstruct not just my house but also my feeling of security and stability.

It would mean the world to me if you could help in any form, whether it be a gift or even simply sharing this website. Every little sum will enable me to rebuild; I cannot adequately thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Aunque la vida puede cambiar rápidamente, nunca imaginé que me encontraría en una situación que requiriera este tipo de ayuda. Mi casa resultó gravemente dañada por el huracán Helene y ahora me resulta muy difícil controlar los daños.

La tormenta destruyó por completo partes de mi techo, provocando inundaciones en toda la casa. Ahora, el lugar donde vivo es difícil de identificar. Muchos de mis artículos se han perdido y el costo emocional y financiero de las reparaciones es grande.

Aunque pedir ayuda es difícil, la pido porque realmente la necesito. Mi seguro apenas cubrirá una parte de los gastos; no estoy segura de cómo manejaré el resto. Estoy trabajando para reconstruir no sólo mi casa sino también mi sensación de seguridad y estabilidad.
