Hi, my name is Alex and I am trying to help my mom Mary. On 1/2/24, my mom went to the ER with confusion, headache and loss of apatite. We had no idea that the symptoms would lead to this. After an MRI, they determined she had multiple tumors in her brain. After more testing, they found cancer and has found out it is Non-small cell lung cancer that has metastasized in her brain and liver, along with a large tumor on her lung. She has 2 large tumors on her brain with multiple small ones. We just scheduled her brain surgery to remove the biggest tumor. She is looking at both radiation and chemotherapy as well for treatment. We will be following up with bio markers to see if she will also need immunotherapy.

Without treatment, my mom is looking at a 3-6 month lifespan. With treatment, we can stretch that to 1-2 years left. We are trying to figure out her best life plan to determine how we can make the rest of her life worth while. She is only 57 years young and I can’t imagine my life without her.

My mom is a wonderful mother, a loving grandma, a caring sister, and strong wife. She is surrounded with love, and gives out so much love and support to everyone around her.

We are trying to raise money for her cancer treatment. We would really love to help raise extra money so she can pay these medical bills and so she can live the rest of her life in peace and enjoy every single day worry free with her husband, daughters, grandson, and other grandson on the way. There will be a big journey ahead and a lot of support needed. Any support is greatly appreciated.
