I'm Mary LaFlame and I live in Johnson City, near Erwin, TN. You are probably aware of the absolute devastation Helene caused here. The emergency work has just started and those of us who were spared are doing all we can to assist.

For my part, I've purchased a freezer and will be cooking around the clock for relief workers. I will also be offering free laundry service and showers for visiting volunteers. I have invested a lot of money already, and could use some help keeping the pantry stocked with supplies for chili, cornbread, pound cake, fruit cobblers, and sweet tea for disaster workers who will be streaming in and out for relief. There's also laundry supplies to stock.
