Mary Evanoff (Merrie Mary) has been a professional performer on streets and stages for nearly 30 years and a regular part of the Pier 39 street performer program; recently she has been injured and she needs your help.
On March 3, 2018, Mary was doing the last trick in her show, juggling up above her audience and unfortunately, fell from her pole that she balances upon.
In the 28 years of doing her show, the clubs she juggles have never landed directly underneath her, and on that particular night, they did.
She came off her Pole and landed directly on top of the handle of one of her clubs, with her right foot, it twisted and it snapped.
She broke her ankle and her foot: 3 breaks. Her 5th metacarpal, and the lower end of both her tibia and fibula.
As a results, she hasn't been able to work at all and the bills have been piling up.
We are trying to help her cover some of the bills with this funding page and anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who pitches in and helps Mary thru these difficult financial times.
