Help Mary Ellen McKenna in her recovery

Our dear friend Mary Ellen has been very ill and has been permanently on oxygen since January. After several hospitalizations and progressively getting worse, she finally had a lung biopsy 3 weeks ago.
She has been diagnosed with Usual Interstitial Pneumonia (UIP). Unfortunately this has no cure and can only be treated with medication to halt it's progress.
She requires a double lung transplant. We would like to help her to be as comfortable as possible until this can happen.
Mary Ellen has been staying with her very dear friends Joan and Loretta, who have been caring wonderfully for her, since January. They are installing a chair lift so Mary Ellen can go upstairs. She also needs a second oxygen machine upstairs. Neither of these are covered by insurance.
Mary Ellen has always been there for everyone as a true friend. She has been an integral part of the Lizard's family from the very beginning. Always making amazing food for every occasion, hosting Bingo, Wednesday grilling and running the dart League.
It is time for us to all come together and help Mary Ellen through this. I want to see her back in her barstool at Lizard's.
