HELP MARY DUNN FIGHT COLON CANCER

Donation protected
Update 6/14/2023:
Mary’s surgery went very well. She has been home almost a month now. She has good days and bad days. She is physically and mentally exhausted. But, she has no plans to give up. Her family and friends have been very supportive, which brings her so much joy.

Mary will be undergoing chemotherapy. Her port was placed this week and she begins chemotherapy next week. She will be in the infusion center for several hours one day each week and finish the treatment from a portable bag for two more days. This schedule is for two consecutive weeks. She will have one week off between treatments. This schedule will continue for six months.

Please continue the prayers and shares. Any amount that you can donate will be so very appreciated as this continues to be an expensive journey. Thank you and God Bless.

Hello all! My name is Lynn Harris and I am on a mission to help my very dear friend Mary. Please take the time to read the following and if you feel in your heart that you can help in any way at all, I will forever be grateful to you.

You may or not know Mary Dunn and if you don't you have really missed out on this special woman. You will rarely see her without that great smile!

If you know Mary, you may or may not know her current battle. She was diagnosed in February with colon cancer and now she is all set for colorectal surgery tomorrow May 18, 2023. The journey has been extremely challenging physically, mentally, and financially.

Mary will continue to battle through this for God, herself, her children, the grandchildren, and of course her dearest friends. We have all shed many tears watching her go through this horrible disease.

Mary is expected to be in surgery for about 6 hours tomorrow, in the hospital for 5-7 days, then recover at home for about 6 weeks. If you know anything about the medical industry you should know that her expenses will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars (per medical personnel). If you know anything about the medical insurance industry, you should know not everything is covered. Mary has medical insurance, but the plan is not through her employer; therefore, she will have to continue making the monthly premium payments. She is also worried about daily living expenses, as her employer does not offer any compensation when she does not work.

Bottom line here for me is that Mary should not have to worry about money. Her priorities should be the surgery and recovery. This journey will take months.

If you are unable to donate any money to this cause, I do ask that you please put Mary Dunn and her family in your prayers and feel free to share this page with anyone that you know. Prayers, peace and love to you!
