Help Mary Canchola Get to Dialysis
The Cancholas are no stranger to obstacles. In 2020, Mary’s husband, Robert Sr., suffered a stroke that left him unable to walk and in a wheelchair. Just a year later, tragedy struck again when their son passed away, leaving Robert and Mary to care for their son’s three children. Through it all, the family has shown incredible strength and resilience.
Recently, Mary, who is legally blind, suffered a stroke in November that affected her speech and left her nonverbal, unable to walk, and bed bound. Despite these challenges, Mary is lovingly cared for at home by her family, but she still needs to get to and from dialysis several times a week using an ambulatory service. These services are very expensive, making transportation a significant financial challenge.
Mary has always been a source of strength and kindness for her family. Now, as she faces these new obstacles, her loved ones are doing everything they can to support her. By starting this fundraiser, her family hopes to ease some of the burden Mary is facing. The funds raised will go directly toward transportation expenses, ensuring Mary can get to every dialysis appointment safely and on time. This support will allow her to focus on her health and recovery, rather than worrying about how to get to treatment.
Mary's family is deeply grateful for any help, whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind word. Thank you so much for all your love, prayers and support. Every bit of encouragement means the world to them during this time.
