Help Mary Battle Cancer and Relieve Financial Stress

In September, our dear friend Mary Nunes O'Connor noticed something unusual—her stomach was growing despite losing weight. After several appointments, tests, and a biopsy in October, she received the devastating news: a cancerous mass was found on her ovary and spread to her abdomen. Mary has been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, and her doctors are acting quickly to begin treatment before it spreads further.

Mary has started chemotherapy as part of an aggressive treatment plan to give her the best chance of beating this disease. Unfortunately, this battle will require her to step away from work for several months, placing a heavy financial burden on her and her family during an already difficult time.

Mary is more than just a friend—she’s a mother, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and pillar of our community.
