As many of you know my aunt Maryanne and cousin Frankie were involved in a very serious car accident on January 3, 2017.


They took a mother-son trip up to a little town called Solvang up north and were hit head-on by a young driver on their way home. Her daughter Melissa and family have been in Santa Barbara at the hospital where she is being treated at the last several days. Fortunately, Frank has been released and although is in pain he is doing well. Maryanne, however is in worse shape. She has extensive injuries and is in the process of waiting for a transfer to a high level trauma hospital (hopefully closer to home) that is qualified to operated on her broken pelvis and shattered knee. In addition to the broken pelvis, she has a shattered knee, 10 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a fractured vertebrae and MANY other broken bones throughout her body. She has a long recovery ahead of her as well as many surgeries to come to repair many of her injuries once she is stable.


The money donated here will go to helping her with medical bills, which are and will be continuing to just pile up,  and helping assist her daughter with whatever is needed to speed up and aid in her recovery. Maryanne lives in an upstairs condo and will not have the ability to utilize the stairs for MANY months to come.
