I am mary ...age 76, 1/2 blind, 2 metal hips, & have lupus. I live with my cousin, linda, who owns the house we live in that had a fire nov 21. Linda is age 78, diabetic, shingles, heart/lung problems, oxygen tank. Her son brian, age 55, diabetic, lives with us. We have a cat, a chiwawa, pitbull animals.

Nov 21, 2024 the garage had an electrical fire. Everything damaged, used chain saw to take down the front door. Fire inspector/adjuster said the damage was extensive & inside the home is full of deadly cancer causing chemicals & ash. They have to gut the entire house & throw away anything with thick, soft material ...couches, recliner, mattresses, etc. We will be homeless 6-8 months during the repairs.

We need a place to live ...and help with food for this length of time.

They will not begin repair until we pay $2,000.00 - which we don't have.
