Help Mary and Her Family Through This Tough Time

Mary has been fighting multiple myeloma since March of 2023. She has been going to Sioux Falls for treatment once a week and Mayo for regular visits.

After 3 attempts for the transplant her journey finally met all the requirements for stem cell transplant that took place on 8-16-24 at Mayo Clinic.

The procedure went well.

Unfortunately on 8-26-24 she was admitted to ICU for unforeseen complications such as kidney failure leading to the need for dialysis, bacterial pneumonia, blood clots in her legs, mental status changes, and needing to be sedated and intubated.

All these unexpected events have created stress emotionally and financially for her and her family.

It appears to still be a long road to recovery.
