My aunt, Mary Campbell, and cousins Pam Udall and Sue Udall have made Asheville, NC, their home for many years. They recently experienced devastation as they watched their beloved town take a direct hit from Hurricane Helene. Although they thankfully made it through the hurricane’s initial impact, the aftermath will have long-reaching effects on their lives. Mary has had to leave her home to stay with Ed and Barb in Atlanta for an undetermined amount of time, as it is unclear how many more weeks their neighborhood will remain without power or water. Sue is staying at the house to care for their pets. Pam has had to shutter her salon business and is unsure when, and how, she will re-open.
If you are able to give a small amount, it would be greatly appreciated, as they will have many unexpected costs during this time of upheaval. Funds will be used for costs associated with rebuilding their lives and paying bills while their income is impacted.
