We are the family of Marvin Joseph Tolliver. Marvin life ended on October 15, 2025, doing something he absolutely love, cutting hair. Marvin was an innocent bystander who was just doing his job. He was caught in the crossfire of senseless violence. Marvin left behind is parents Margaret and Ervin Tolliver and brothers Ervin Tolliver Jr. and Vincent Tolliver. Being a barber was not his only love, he loved his family, bowling, music, his dog Poppa and cars. Marvin attended Southern University (Baton Rouge)where he was once a member of the great Human Jukebox where he played the trumpet. Outside of being a barber he also worked at the Women's Hospital. Marvin also was part of an car club. He loved cars. Marvin not only left behind people that loved and adored him but he left behind something sentimental his car. Although financed, we are trying to raise funds to pay off his car. We will be honored to keep his car in the memories of Marvin. This will give my family the pleasure to keep his memory alive.
