Help Marvin Rebuild After Tragic Fire

My name is Peggy. I have been friends with Marvin Anderson for about 7 years. Marvin is a very private person and won't ask for help on his own. But as many of you may know, Monday night his life was completely turned upside down. His home caught on fire and he not only lost everything he owns, but he also lost his girlfriend Rachel, whom he loved immensely. She was not able to make it out of the fire and sadly passed away. He was transported to Sacred Heart in critical condition from smoke inhalation and was on a ventilator. Yesterday, he woke up and was hit with the reality of the last few days. As of today, he was moved from ICU to the pulmonary floor, Still needing high-flow oxygen to help with his breathing. He will need help to rebuild his life. He is not sure where he will go when he is strong enough to leave the hospital or how he will even get there with his car also being burned. He will have a long road to recovery through this traumatic experience and hopefully, we all can make it a little easier for him along the way.
