Hello, my name is Marvin Antonio Saez Díaz. I am humbly sharing my story to ask for help during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I arrived in the United States in June 2022 with a work permit and began working in construction just three days after my arrival. To bring my family from Nicaragua, I made many sacrifices, including sleeping in my truck on the street for about five months, so I could save enough money. My ex-wife and I finally arrived in October 2022 with our son.

Only three months later, my son disappeared. A report was filed with 911, but tragically, he was found deceased shortly after. The most painful part is that we were officially notified two years after the fact. This loss deeply affected my emotional and mental health and marked the beginning of many hardships.

While working in construction, I suffered a serious accident, falling from a height of 22 feet, which left me with 11 fractures throughout my body, including injuries to my head, both shoulders, both knees, chest, left testicle, and other areas. I also suffered hearing damage, a ruptured eardrum requiring a tube in my left ear, vision problems, and chronic headaches.

During this time, my wife left me for another man. When I confronted the situation, this man falsely accused me, claiming that I had threatened him with a weapon. This accusation was completely untrue. Despite this, I was wrongfully arrested and spent over one month in jail for something I did not do. After my release, I was assaulted in Washington, D.C., robbed of all my belongings, and physically injured.

In May 2025, after my accident, I stopped receiving my monthly income of $1,300, and I have now been without income for eight months. I currently owe six months of rent ($600 per month), struggle to afford food, transportation to medical appointments, medications, medical supports such as a cane and knee braces, and basic living expenses.

I also have a sick father in Nicaragua who depends on me, and a brother I try to help when I can.

Hola, mi nombre es Marvin Antonio Saez Díaz. Con mucha humildad comparto mi historia para pedir ayuda durante uno de los momentos más difíciles de mi vida.

Llegué a los Estados Unidos en junio de 2022 con permiso de trabajo y comencé a trabajar en construcción apenas tres días después de mi llegada. Para poder traer a mi familia desde Nicaragua, hice muchos sacrificios, incluyendo dormir en mi troca en la calle durante aproximadamente cinco meses, para poder ahorrar lo suficiente. Mi exesposa y yo finalmente llegamos en octubre de 2022 junto con nuestro hijo.

Tan solo tres meses después, mi hijo desapareció. Se hizo el reporte al 911, pero trágicamente fue encontrado sin vida poco tiempo después. Lo más doloroso es que la notificación oficial nos llegó dos años después. Esta pérdida afectó profundamente mi salud emocional y mental, y marcó el inicio de muchas dificultades.

Mientras trabajaba en construcción, sufrí un grave accidente, cayendo desde una altura de 22 pies, lo que me dejó con 11 fracturas en todo el cuerpo, incluyendo lesiones en la cabeza, ambos hombros, ambas rodillas, el pecho, el testículo izquierdo y otras áreas. También sufrí daños auditivos, ruptura del tímpano que requirió la colocación de un tubo en el oído izquierdo, problemas de visión y dolores de cabeza crónicos.

Durante este tiempo, mi esposa me dejó por otro hombre. Cuando confronté la situación, este hombre me acusó falsamente, diciendo que yo lo había amenazado con un arma. Esta acusación fue completamente falsa. A pesar de ello, fui arrestado injustamente y pasé más de un mes en la cárcel por algo que no cometí. Después de mi liberación, fui asaltado en Washington, D.C., donde me robaron todas mis pertenencias y me causaron lesiones físicas.

En mayo de 2025, después del accidente, dejé de recibir mi ingreso mensual de $1,300, y actualmente llevo ocho meses sin ingresos. Debo seis meses de renta ($600 mensuales) y tengo dificultades para cubrir gastos como comida, transporte para citas médicas, medicamentos, apoyos médicos como bastón y rodilleras, y otros gastos básicos.

También tengo un padre enfermo en Nicaragua que depende de mí, y un hermano a quien trato de ayudar cuando me es posible.
