Help Marva Say Goodbye

On Saturday August 14, my sister got the worst news of her life, when she was awoken from her sleep by heavy knocking on her front door by the police. She was told “Your husband is in a bad accident and you need to come with us to the hospital”.

Donovan wasn’t feeling well and was on his way to the hospital to seek medical attention. He never made it there as he went into Cardiac Arrest and lost control of his vehicle. EMS responded and did all they could then transferred him to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

My brother-in-law Donovan, was a husband, father and an amazing loving, kind and friendly person to all. He was a loyal and dedicated employee in the Deli Department at Stop and Shop (Vineyard Haven) for 10 years. His contagious smile and kindness to his family and customers will be greatly missed. We are saddened and heartbroken as his death was unexpected and shocking.

I am asking that you keep his family in your prayers. He leaves behind his wife, 9 year old daughter, son, and his extended family here and in Jamaica.

To help ease Marva’s financial burden with the burial and other expenses due to this tragic and unexpected loss. I am asking for your support.
