Hi everyone,

I hate to be asking for anything from anyone but my dog Marty is really going through a tough time right now. If you know me at all, you will know that Marty is my WORLD. He was adopted at the age of three after being rescued from living on the streets of Tijuana, and has been my son for five amazing years. I love him so much and he brings so much joy and adventure to my life – I would do anything for him. The weekend of July 4th I noticed him dragging his back legs, unable to walk. I took him to the vet and it turns out he has a slipped disk in his spine, which paralyzes the back legs, requiring major emergency surgery. Leaving Marty without care was not an option, but we were shocked to hear that the procedures would cost up to TEN THOUSAND dollars. So far we have spent $9,669.77, which may increase depending on the amount of care he needs after his operation. If you would like to donate to Marty's cause, I can assure you 100% of this money will go towards his vet bills and getting him back to being the fun and energetic doggie we all know and love.
