Debbie and Marty Wimpee are two of the most kind, generous, and selfless people you could ever meet. For years they have been active members of their community, always the first to lend a helping hand, support a neighbor, or show up for family and friends. They have spent their lives giving to others and never asking for anything in return.

In the middle of the night, Debbie and Marty woke up to the terrifying sight of their home on fire. They ran outside to safety and could only watch as the house they had lived in for over 25 years was completely destroyed. In a matter of minutes, everything they owned, family photos, keepsakes, and a lifetime of memories, was gone. They even lost there camper and during the chaos of the fire, their beloved dogs, Shelby, Ralph, and Gabe, ran away and are still missing.

This home was where holidays were celebrated, where their grandchildren grew up, and where they planned to spend the rest of their lives together. After years of hard work, they had finally paid off their home only for their insurance to be dropped shortly after. Because of this, they now have no coverage to help them recover from this devastating loss.

Debbie and Marty have lost everything and are now facing the unimaginable task of starting over from nothing.
