Help Marty Beat Pancreatic Cancer

We have a family in our community that needs some extra help during this season of their life. This fundraiser is for The Elhart family (Grace, Marty, Coralina and Walter). Recently, Marty was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I'm sure you can understand that this diagnosis was initially overwhelming. Marty has started treatment and is doing well, but insurance does not cover his treatment. They have exhausted their resources, such as credit cards and some home equity. After speaking to Grace this past weekend, she opened up and was very transparent about their situation. She was embarrassed to be needing help, but that's because she is the one who is always helping others. Many in this community know the Elharts as they have lived here long. Many are aware of the tough time lately due to illnesses and Marty losing his dad. If you have it in your heart to help financially or with prayers, it would be so appreciated. The total needed is $30,000 for his treatment. Grace showed me the billing ledger, and I understand how hard it would be to have finances be another burden in this challenging situation.

After some feedback, I have decided to open up the fundraising on two platforms. Some people would instead donate on gofundme ($15,000), and others would instead contribute on another forum (Waygiver $15,000).

It is humbling to be on the receiving end of help, but I know it's worth trying to get them the help they need.
