Help Tita and Her Family Through ALS
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and a hopeful spirit to share the story of our beloved Marta—a beautiful soul, devoted mother of four, and one of the strongest women we know.
In August 2024, at just 32 years old, Marta received the devastating diagnosis of bulbar-onset ALS, a rare and aggressively progressive form of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
Her journey began in early 2023 with something as simple as a change in her handwriting. What followed was months of unanswered questions, missed diagnoses, and worsening symptoms. By March 2024, Marta’s condition had taken a sharp turn—she lost the ability to walk overnight, and her speech began to slur. After countless doctor visits, tests, and consultations, her diagnosis was finally confirmed at the Cleveland Clinic: ALS. A 100% fatal disease with no cure.
Despite the unimaginable weight of this diagnosis, Martita has remained filled with grace, strength, and an unwavering belief that God has the final say. Her faith and resilience inspire us every day.✨
But now, she and her family need our help.
Why Your Support Matters:
Caring for someone with ALS, especially with a fast-progressing form like bulbar-onset, is not only emotionally taxing—it’s financially overwhelming.
The average cost of full-time in-home care for ALS patients exceeds $80,000 per year, and this doesn’t include out-of-pocket costs for medications, equipment, transportation to specialists, home modifications, and other essential services not fully covered by insurance.
Right now, Martita’s devoted partner, Aaron, has been shouldering the cost of her care while also acting as her primary caregiver. This level of care is not sustainable without community support. That’s why we’re turning to you.
What We’re Raising Funds For:
- Medical and In-Home Care Costs: Covering essential care services so Martita can remain safe and comfortable at home with her children.
- Support for Her Caregiver: Easing the financial strain on Aaron so he can continue focusing on being there for Martita every step of the way.
- Savings for Her Four Children: Creating protected savings accounts to give her kids a secure future, knowing Martita won’t be able to financially provide for them.
- Quality of Life: Allowing Martita to experience peace, joy, and dignity throughout this journey without the stress of financial insecurity.
‼️Every dollar helps. Every share matters.‼️
If you’re not in a position to donate, we kindly ask you to share this campaign and help us spread Martita’s story.✨
ALS takes everything—but with your support, we can help give time, peace, and hope back to Martita and her family.
With love and gratitude,
Tita’s Family and Friends
