Well, my trusty 2013 Toyota Prius has been having lots of problems and I get the feeling it's time to find a new ride. So I started keeping my eyes open for something else, but everything is soooo expensive. However, I found a 1984 Toyota Sunrader RV with only 24,000 original miles on it for super cheap. These early toyotas are very reliable and I think it's gonna be a great upgrade for me.

Back in Christmas of 2023 I posted a photo on Facebook of a school that I was asking Santa Clause to bring me for Christmas so I could travel in it. Multiple friends of mine commented on the photo "Put up a Go Fund Me, I'll donate to the cause". Well, the school bus sold before I could raise the funds. Every time I'd find a suitable vehicle, for my travels that I could afford, it would disappear. I kept seeing some great deals come up, but then they would sell. Then that's when I found the beautiful RV I have in my possession now.

I found the Toyota Sunrader RV on Facebook Marketplace. She's a 1984 Toyota Sunrader with ONLY 24,000 original miles!!! I knew this ad would not last long so I called around to family and friends to see if anyone could loan me the money. I almost NEVER borrow money from people, BUT this deal was too good to lose. I borrowed the money from one of my good friends. However, I need to pay him back.

I'm reluctant to do yet ANOTHER Go Fund Me, especially since I just did one last year after my heart surgery. However, the older I get, the more I believe that it doesn't hurt to ask. So here I am, asking for help to pay my friend back for this RV. If you don't have any money, please do not worry. No big deal. After 7 years of traveling all over North America in my Toyota Prius, I have decided it is time I get an RV so I can have something to do my traveling properly. Namely, the RV has a bathroom and shower so I can feel like I'm part of civilized society when I'm on the road. The RV has a nice bed and plety of space for me to practice my music. The Prius has been AMAZING! I have saved so much money on fuel costs and maintenance, but the Prius is not what I envision for my life. It is really difficult for me to practice my music when I'm on the road in my Prius. Therefore, I have decided to take a chance on buying this 1984 Toyota Sunrader with only 24,000 original miles on it! I got a GREAT deal on it, but there is one catch...there was a factory recall on the rear axle that is very dangerous unless a person replaces it. I am confident I will be able to affordably fix this issue. You know what they say, I the 2 best days of an RV owners life is the day he buys the RV and the day he sells it. Well, here's hoping this is an exception. In this episode of the podcast I will share my stories so far about my new RV. I will also share some stories about the Volkswagen Van I had for years and why I think this Toyota Sunrader may be way better for me than the Volkswagen was.
