Martin Engelbert has been battling stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer and is truly in need of the community’s help. The medical bills are starting to stack up and he has been officially placed on long term disability at work which will greatly limit his income. Martin has lived in, worked for and served the City of Celina in multiple roles since 1995. You cannot find a better definition of a public servant. Martin joined the Celina Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter. He served in many roles during his tenure with the fire department and was eventually hired as the first paid Fire Chief.

Martin and his wife Kelly have raised their children and are active members of this great Celina community. Martin is truly a humble man and does not like to ask for nor would he ever seek help. However, multiple battles with cancer have put a huge strain on their finances. Anything that you can do will go a long way to helping Martin and his amazing family.
