Help Martin Dial

I'm not sure how to start one of these things off. Like life I will just jump into it. My most loved husband has had a major health crises arise from nowhere. Acting on a promise to go get seen if his anxiety and pain continued, Martin went to the local walk in clinic last Tuesday May 17th. He was promptly admitted and transferred to the cardiac department of Central Washington Hospital. When the results of the blood and imaging work ups were complete, he was diagnosed with a 100% and 80% blockages. They also shockingly discovered a very large renal vein thrombosis. When all information was presented it was clear the heart would not survive the kidney removal and it was too extensive to do both surgeries together and that the kidney will require removal. By Saturday he was undergoing a quadruple bypass surgery. His recovery has been very strong and stable which is encouraging for the outlook of the next step. He is home as of today, May 24th and resting as best possible for open heart surgery.
So, needless to say this has been a lot and in a short time. It is especially difficult because myself, his wife, just underwent surgery three weeks ago and am still in the recovery process myself. As if this isn't enough, the largest challenges are that I am visually impaired and near legally blind. I am unable to drive and am on social security. This left Martin as our sole bread winner and our only driver. At this moment Martin won't be driving for quite some time. We are able to use some public transit when he's stronger and better recovered. We have paperwork filled and processing, which will add some help but it won't be for awhile yet.
In all of this drama, we have a wonderful 7 year old grandson that we are blessed to have living with us. He's a good lad with a good head on his shoulders and I know he will continue to help his Mimi and PacPac. (Yes, that's spelled correctly, lol, Eli landed on that name himself and we like it, lol. Like 2Pac but unabridged! )
At this time we have not a nest egg put aside. The work hours prior to this were short because Martin helped me after my surgery and now he will be very very short on income.
I am starting this so that I am able to meet the bills we have coming in and to pay for household needs. I'm aware that times are very difficult for many and I appreciate any help you're able to provide. If you'd like to private message me for more ideas on how to help, please do. I am making the amount $5,000.00 which I have no clue how the co pays and hospital bills will plan out but for now we just need to get something set up.
Thank you for reading and if you're able to help I greatly appreciate it. Prayers are also a wonderful way and it is my prayer that this go fund me can help alleviate some of the financial stress.
Thank you!!!
