Martin is an older gentleman who needs our help. I found out about his plight through Daniel who works a great Non Profit called Food for Now which has really been helping Martin.

Martin has a Master's in Computer Science & he wants nothing more than to get back to work to provide for himself. Martin is very humble & doesn't drink or do any drugs. However, he is homeless and has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has been living in a tent in Etobicoke since April 2025 when he had surgery. His belongings were stolen when he went to a shelter in July including his laptop along with $1,000 cash that he was using to for housing & to live.

Martin's cancer treatments are draining him and his health is poor. They have switched him from radiation to pills as the radiation wasn't working. He has been told that he may only have 6 months to live. He wants to enjoy the time remaining in his own tent being independent, so I am doing what I can to help support him. And I told him when he wants to move inside I will help advocate for him to get a place.

Please give what you can to try to help provide for Martin to live out his days with some comfort and ease so that he doesn't have to worry about basic things. I will use the money for food & small things like extra clothing. I hope that this will help him focus on his health.
