Hello, my name is Shandra. Martin and Kendall are some of my best friends and a core members of my community. After the last time ICE came to their house, they filed a motion to reopen his case with the court of immigration, which was accepted, and our case status is now pending. Last year, they filed a I-130 through their marriage, and it was accepted. They received a letter in the mail last week requesting his application for his visa.

They still came onto our property, into our backyard without a warrant. They chased, tackled, and assaulted Martin and then detained him. His intake was done at the US Border Patrol office in North Spokane, then he was taken to Kootenai County for holding. In the next few days, they will bus him to Tacoma. Our families are grieving. We are scared. We are asking for help in paying for the lawyer costs, to put money on his books, and hopefully not but realistically paying for his daily living in Mexico. We need our community's help right now.
