Help Martin & Alex Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Martin & Alex have lost nearly everything due to the devastation of Hurricane Helene. I'm Troy Davis from the San Francisco Bay Area. I've known Martin since his time in San Francisco, through our professional engagements. Prior to his move to Florida, we shared multiple concerts, particularly with the one-of-a-kind San Francisco Wind Ensemble, of which he's the founding Artistic Director and Conductor. Through this fundraising event, I'm hoping to help him and his wife, Alex, so they can begin to rebuild their lives.

Their home, both vehicles, furniture, appliances, and most belongings were completely lost during the flooding due to the hurricane. Luckily, they are both safe and healthy. However, their insurance in Florida will not cover anywhere near the amount needed for repair and replacement. Their two older cars will not receive much for reimbursement, and contractors are now booked out for months, so home repairs will take a long time. Rental cars and apartments are unobtainable, especially for the longer term. I'm hoping to raise enough money to help them make a down payment on a car and to make a small dent in the repair costs that will be needed for their home.
