Help Martijo and Family in Tough Times

Hello everyone! Here is the most recent update from Martijo’s grandmother.
We saw her dr today and it really wasn’t what we wanted to hear. The dr says she thinks the cancer is in fact Neuroblastoma and in stage 4. Shes almost positive it’s in the bone marrow since her hemoglobin is down to 7.5. She says it is aggressive and it is a hard cancer to treat. Her plan is a lot of chemo, radiation, stem cell therapy and immunotherapy and hopefully a trial study. She also said that she was going to try to save her kidney and shrink the tumor then do surgery on it. Wednesday she gets her body scan to see if it’s anywhere else. It is on her spine in a couple places and her hip. Hopefully she will get her central line put in on Thursday and the plan is to start chemotherapy on Friday. She said we are looking at 15-24 months of treatment and she will have all treatments here in Memphis at St. Jude’s. Since her hemoglobin is so low they are giving her blood as we speak. We have a lot more appointments coming up this week and this news was a lot to take in and I’m sure there is going to be a lot more that we are going to hear. Please keep us in your prayers especially my little Martijo.
Help us raise funds for her mother and family for travels, bills and meals.
