Help Marti with HVAC and Transportation

My name is Elisa Coonrod. My husband, Dave, and I have known Kenny and Marti for 40 or more years. Honestly, who did not know Kenny?

He was the Grand Marshall of Springfield's St. Patrick's Day parade, the "GOVNOR", the voice behind KSMU's Jazz Excursions, the conversationalist, a teller of tall tales, the historian, "Ke Knuck" and the husband of Marti for 43 years.

Kenny and Marti have selflessly given the community their whole life.

It is time to help Marti. This fundraiser was offered to Marti and she "swallowed her pride" and accepted. In Marti's words, "my HVAC system is over 35 years old and is so outdated now that it is no longer legal for companies to service the air conditioning system coolant. The motor itself is on its' last leg. Of course, the heating system is connected with it done at the same time right after we moved in the house in 1982."

I heard from another friend her car gets so hot when she drives, she is afraid to drive.

This fundraiser is $15,000 for the HVAC needs and suitable transportation.

Let's return to Marti some kindness and help that she has shown our community, and in honor of our friend, and her husband, Kenny.
