As many of you know, my sister-in-law has been battling health issues for years. She beat cancer once, but this time it has come back with a vengeance. It has spread throughout her body and into her bone marrow. Last week, we received the news no family ever wants to hear — she was sent home on hospice. She is now declining quickly, and the hospice nurse believes we may only have 24–48 hours left with her.

Watching someone you love suffer is something you can never prepare for. Our hearts are heavy, and we are trying to make the most of every moment we have left with her. Because of her long health battle, she was unable to get life insurance, leaving the burden of final expenses on the family. If you are able to help in any way, no matter how small, we would be forever grateful.

But more than anything, we are asking for prayers. Please lift up Jamie, Petee, Amanda, Krystal, Shyanne, all of the grandbabies, and our entire family as we walk through these painful days. And please pray for peace, comfort, and a gentle transition for Martha as she continues to decline.
