Help Martha and Her Family Rebuild After a Devastating Fire
On the night of July 3rd, 2025, just after 9 PM, tragedy struck our family.
A fire broke out in the backyard of a neighbor's home due to the illegal hoarding of fireworks. We still don’t know exactly what sparked the explosion—but the result was catastrophic. The blast ignited a massive fire that quickly engulfed our mother Martha’s home in flames.
Inside the main home at the time was our 85-year-old grandmother, along with my sister-in-law, who lived in the front unit. Miraculously, they escaped with their lives—but everything else was lost.
The Los Angeles Fire Department has declared the home a total loss. Years of memories, family photos, important documents, clothes, furniture - all gone in an instant. Nothing could be saved.
Our family is heartbroken. This home held decades of love, history, and stability. Now, my mother and her loved ones are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the hope that somehow, they can start over.
We are asking for your help. While they wait for insurance assessments—which may take weeks or even months—we are trying to raise funds to help them with urgent living expenses, clothing, and basic necessities.
If you can give anything—no amount is too small—it would mean the world to our family. And even if you cannot donate, simply sharing this page with your friends and family would be an incredible help.
Thank you for your support, your compassion, and your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
Martha and Family.
