Help Martha wait for her passport in Mexico

Hi All
I'm Ranna and I'm asking for a little holiday cheer for my dear friend, Martha. Martha is a wonderful mother to a beautiful baby boy, sister, daughter and friend. She is a dancer (tango, ballet and flamenco) at heart and teacher in spirit! Martha applied for citizenship under Obama's Daca citizenship plan 8 years ago.
After waiting for 8 years, she finally got notice of her interview in Juarez, Mexico! On December 8th, She made the difficult decision to leave her very young son behind in the loving care of her relatives in the United States for his own comfort and head to Mexico with the accompaniment of her amazing brother. Though nervous, she was excited to finally get this over with and to visit her country of birth. One which was completely foreign to her as she had no memory of it whatsoever. After a grueling day (Dec. 14) at the immigration office being questioned and unable to eat food all day, she received word that she was approved!
But Martha's story doesn't end there. Martha's approval was over a week ago and she is still waiting from USCIS to receive her passport. Martha's brother had to return back to the United States on December 18th , leaving Martha behind to wait for her passport while she lives at a hotel room in Juarez.
And if matters weren't difficult enough, today Martha learned that her immigration attorney made a big error, putting the wrong city down for Martha to receive her passport. And tomorrow morning she is driving 5 hours to the city of Chihuahua to wait and hope for her passport to arrive. If it doesn't arrive by 4 p.m., she will have to wait until the first of the year.... at minimum.
Martha's emotional strength is wearing thin. She has never been away from her little boy for more than a day, let alone two weeks. This is day 14 (and counting) for Martha, being completely alone, during the holidays, in a country foreign to her, while she waits to come home to her family.
I can't imagine being without my child for this long with this much uncertainty. And while there is nothing we can do make this go faster, maybe we can help pay for hotel room fees, food, funds lost for not being able to work, and maybe a little extra for distraction while she passes the time.
Thank you all for your time and generosity ♥
And happy holidays from Ranna and family. Hug your loved ones tightly this season.
