Help Martha Recover and Make Her Home Safe
Donation protected
My name is Brittni, and I’m raising funds for my grandmother Martha. On April 10, my grandmother was outside and going to step off the steps of the porch and had a bad fall. She came to Riverside Hospital and is currently undergoing surgery for a broken humerus and a broken femur. At 85, her spirits are high and we’re praying surgery is a success. My biggest concern is her safety and recovery at home. I would really like to get the front and back porch fixed and to include an accessible ramp that she did not have access to before. I would also like to make the inside more accessible to her and my grandfather to prevent future injuries, and be accessible for her walker. I’d like to also get my grandparents new and comfortable furniture as they have only had the same hand me downs for YEARS.
My grandma has always been the rock of our family. An angel on earth. She is not only kind and loving to her family, but she treats everyone on the street as if they’re family or friends. She donates money to programs to help children in other countries, she feeds strangers, animals, and helps anyone in need. So I pray and ask that she be blessed with the funds to make not only recovery safe and comfortable for her and my grandpa, but make her ongoing life safe and comfortable. I love my grandma with my entire being, and I know anyone would love her too. I’m asking you to give what you can so that her light continues to shine bright in this world. Thank you for reading and God bless.
